Stop Comparing

As humans, we are wired to seek validation from others. From a young age, we are taught to follow in the footsteps of those who came before us, whether it be our parents, teachers or society.

But what happens when we stop to listen to our own inner voice? When do we start following our intuition instead of blindly following the path that others have set for us?

The answer is simple, we experience a newfound sense of fulfillment and purpose in life.

Intuition is often referred to as our gut feeling, that innate sense of knowing that comes from within. It’s that little voice in our head that tells us what feels right and what feels wrong.

But despite its importance we often disregard our intuition in favor of what we see others doing. We become so focused on following in their footsteps that we forget to listen to our own inner voice, leading us to feel unfulfilled and lost in life.

By following our intuition we tap into our individuality and the unique path that’s meant for us. We stop comparing ourselves to others and start embracing our own passions and aspirations.

We stop living someone else’s life and start living our own. And in doing so, we find a sense of fulfillment that cannot be found by simply following what others are doing.

Think about it this way, if we were all meant to follow the same path life would be boring and unfulfilling. It’s our individuality and our unique journeys that make life interesting and fulfilling.

By following our intuition we contribute to this vitality and bring something new to the table.

Now, this is not to say that following our intuition is easy. It takes courage to go against the grain and blaze our own path. It can be scary and uncertain, but it’s also the most rewarding thing we can do for ourselves.

We don’t have to follow the crowd to be happy and successful in life. We just have to listen to that little voice inside of us that’s begging to be heard.

When we stop comparing ourselves to others and start embracing our own individuality we find a sense of purpose and fulfilment that cannot be found by following the crowd.

So the next time you find yourself questioning your path in life, take a moment to listen to your intuition. It just might lead you on a journey that’s uniquely yours and more fulfilling than you could ever imagine.
